Step into our hidden speakeasy cocktail bar, where classic cocktails get a unique twist—from a “Sex on the Pier” to our "Basic B*tch Martini". Each drink is crafted with creativity and flair. Our Thursday live jazz nights have become a staple in Bournemouth, and we've proudly hosted hundreds of unique events.
Host your event in our basement space
Our basement venue is available for free event/private hire, provided you can guarantee a minimum of 30 attendees.
What We Offer:
Club Sound System: Enjoy an immersive audio experience with our six surround sound club speakers. They support XLR, Aux, and Mic cables, and you can easily connect your phone either via Sonos or directly to the speakers.
DJ Decks: Use our XDJ-XZ DJ Decks at no additional cost. We require a passport deposit, returned at the end of the night if no damage occurs. Please note, any damages will be your responsibility, regardless of who caused them.
On-Site Security: We provide complimentary security to check IDs at the door (strictly 18+). While they do not manage ticket checking, they can handle entry for invited guests at private events.
Exclusive Basement Bar: For your event, the basement bar can be exclusively reserved.
Capacity: The basement holds up to 60 people, while the total venue capacity is 100.
Flexible Operating Hours: Our venue can be open from 12pm to midnight. Bar service end at 11:45pm to ensure closure by midnight.
Event Types:
Ticketed Events: Available Friday-Monday. You must handle ticket sales and ensure a minimum of 30 tickets are sold. Please arrange for someone to check tickets at the event.
Private Events: These can be held on Sundays or Mondays, with an expected minimum attendance of 40 people.
